Upcoming sports events: CCHS Athletics, Dragon boating, Basketball

OAS Swimming Sports - well done to the students from the secondary school who participated in the swimming sports on Tuesday. Some great results from a small group and it was a perfect day for swimming. Special thanks to Mrs Evans for her organisation.

Combined Country High School Athletics: Wednesday 10 March at Nga Puna Wai in Christchurch. Entries for this close next Tuesday 2 March. Please don't assume that you child has contacted me about this! If you think they should be entering, you can email me directly. 

Dragon boating:  we have two teams entered in the Canterbury Secondary Schools Dragon Boat Championships to be held on Sunday 7 March at Lake Rua (Roto Kohatu Reserve) in Christchurch. Racing starts at 10:45 am. I am sure they would love lots of support on the day and it would be a great opportunity to see what dragon boating involves if your child is interested.

Basketball Year 9-13 : sign up sheets will go up later next week to see how many teams we will be entering for the Term 2 competition. If you are willing to coach, manage, be a floor controller or umpire, please contact me.
