Reminder that you do need to advise the school office if your child is going to be absent from school for any reason.

It is important that parent/caregivers contact school prior to 8.30am if your child is going to absent from school on any given day.

Absence notifications can be done by one of the following options;

• Leave a voice message on the school absentee line - 312 4197 option 1

• Email jenine@oxford.school.nz

Not reporting your child's absence either before or on the morning of their absence will result in an SMS being sent via our student early notification system and if necessary a phone call to follow up. This is a safety measure.

Students Leaving Early or Arriving To School Late

Leaving during the school day or arriving to school late? Please notify the school of this in advance where possible.

Signing In/Out Using the Vistab Device

Student lateness/movements are recorded through the vistab device at reception. If you are leaving school during school hours or are late please sign in/out.

This system keeps a log of all students that leave the school for any reason. In an emergency we will know exactly who should be at school and who has checked out.
