Children's University Graduation
Hannah Mullis, Dominic Mullis, Nathaniel Sillars, Abigail Ashby-Daniels, Eru Te Awa and Ella-May Keats graduating for Children's University.
This year, 15 tamariki in Years 7, 8 and 10 participated in Children's University. Children’s University aims to raise young people’s aspirations for higher education and encourage lifelong learning. Throughout the year, the students were able to attend a Campus Experience day at Lincoln University, visit learning destinations all around Canterbury and complete activities on the portal, to collect hours for their passport. Once 30 hours of learning or volunteering was reached, students were invited to attend the graduation ceremony to celebrate their achievements.
Due to COVID-19, the graduation that was meant to be held in the Christchurch Town Hall was cancelled but this did not stop us from celebrating the amazing successes we had.
