On Friday 21st of February, 12 year 5-8 students competed at the Eyre Cluster Swimming Champs at Dudley Pool in Rangiora.

Congratulations to Amelia Smith, Jorja Tizzard, Amy Snell, Elisha Ricketts, Eru Te Awa, Emeric Savry, Alexis Graham, Jero Galway, Jonty Glassford, Ethan Ricketts & George Joyner for their successful efforts on Friday. 

Our students competed admirably and achieved wonderful success. Amelia, Jorja, Emeric, Jero, Lexie, Ethan & George have all qualified for the Rakahuri Zone championships next Thursday. 

This year was the first year we have had Oxford swimming caps. They looked excellent and made spotting and watching our Oxford team much easier. We encourage all OAS swimming representatives to buy one. Contact Julie Evans or Deb Baggott for more information on this.
