Great results at Hoof and Hook
Three students at OAS have won top placings at the Beef & Lamb New Zealand Future Beef Hoof and Hook Competition in Hawke's Bay.
The competition which was established in 2006 is run by Future Beef New Zealand (FBNZ) and aims to encourage young people (aged 8-24) who are involved and interested in the beef industry to learn more.
From OAS, Hillary and Elizabeth Cooper and Jack Robson travelled with family up to Hastings to take part. They competed in a number of categories including animal handling, stock judging and a NZ Young Ambassador award.

In addition she received the Junior Encouragement Award
Jack Robson received 1st in novice intermediate handlers
