School Sores
School sores have been reported in the Year 1-6 area at OAS.
There have been some identified cases of impetigo, school sores, in the Year 1-6 area. Please check your child for symptoms. You will find a link below where you can get more information regarding School Sores.
If your child has impetigo, or you suspect they have it, please take them to a doctor for a diagnosis and treatment. Students need to stay at home and return to school no sooner than 24 hours after treatment. Weeping sores need to be covered even after they have been treated.
Please refer to the Ministry of Health page for more information.
