Student Conferences Year 1-8

Anthea Anderson —

Student Conferences for Years 1-8 will be held on Monday 6th August and Tuesday 7th August

Conferences for Year 1-4 and Year 7&8 will be for 15 minutes long.

Conferences for the Year 5 & 6 syndicate will take a slightly different format.   Many of the students have multiple teachers for their learning who may or may not be their homeroom teacher. In light of this, we are offering a different format to the other Syndicates in the school. We have split the days into 30 minute sessions and invite 6 parents/caregivers and students to visit in a time slot. Homeroom teachers  will be available during this time to chat or answer your questions. The students will be running the conference. They will be sharing their work books, art folders, profile folder as well as following some set questions about their learning and next steps. If you have two children in our team we are more than happy for you to do the conference with both students in the same slot.

Year 7&8 non homeroom classes

On both days between 3:30 and 4:30pm the year 7/8 teachers for Science, Physical Education and Health, Technology, Art, Spanish and Music will be available to talk to you about your child's progress and what they are learning in class.  There is no need to book a time with these teachers, just call into Puaka when it suits you during these times.
