This week the Year 1-2 children set up a vet clinic

In preparation for Rural Day on Friday the Year 1 & 2 children enjoyed role-playing being vets, vet nurses and clients bringing in their pets to the vet clinic during their weekly play-based learning session. 

Miss Paterson brought her beautiful dog Nui to school. He sat very patiently as he was bandaged & given a health check. Miss Paterson spoke to the children about how she cares for her dog and the appropriate way to approach an unknown dog. It was lovely to observe the caring interactions that the children had with Nui.
