We want to listen and gather as many ideas, thoughts, wishes and dreams as we can, on the future of our school.

The Board is about to begin the next stage of planning for the future of our school. This is part of our legal obligations and is called ‘Strategic Planning’ and forms part of the school’s Charter.

The process takes time and involves more than just the Board of Trustees. It is the perfect opportunity for you to have an input into the future of your school.

We want to determine the ‘Vision’ and the main ‘Strategic Goals’ for the school, so that we have a clear, exciting direction for the next few years. Naturally, everything will be channelled towards on-going improvement in teaching, learning and achievement.

The process will begin on 3 September 2018, and will start with consultation involving many groups within our community. We want to listen and gather as many ideas, thoughts, wishes and dreams as we can, on the future of our school.

Your input is vital and there will be several opportunities for you to provide this. These opportunities will include a questionnaire, focus groups and the opportunity to speak to someone in person. The most important thing is that you utilise at least one of them.

Once all the ideas, thoughts and wishes have been collected and collated, the Board will come together on a day in October for the final phase, to create the Strategic Plan. During this session, a clear vision of the future of our school will be developed.

Look back and reflect, so you can move forward

We look forward to hearing your contribution once the process begins, and once we have our new Strategic Plan, a copy will be made available through the school’s website and reception.
