Years 5-8 Cross Country Events

Year 5-8 Kendra Ward —

On Tuesday 21st May the Years 5-8 students competed in the OAS cross country competition.

All students competed well and it was great to see so many pushing themselves to achieve goals and compete to their personal best. Thank you so much to the staff and whānau who were course marshalls and supported our children on the day. It was also fantastic to see so many spectators encouraging the children.

As a result of this cross country 33 students then went on to compete at the Eyre Cluster race in Cust. It was a beautiful day for a race and the children gave it their best shot with some very tough competition against other schools in our cluster.
