Frozen Cookie Dough Fundraiser

OAS PTA —

Sign up online to sell frozen cookie dough to help raise funds for Oxford Area School and you could win a prize.

Most of us know that unfortunately schools are underfunded.

Oxford Area School is no exception to this, we need to continually raise money to maintain the excellent class and environmental standards we have set, to help our children reach their highest potential. We know that providing all children with an optimal learning and recreational environment will assist them on their learning journey.

The funds raised from this campaign will go toward enhancing our learning and play environments for all our current and future students.

And if fundraising for our school isn’t a great incentive by itself we have a fantastic prize for our top fundraising page – A Makeblock Neuron Inventor Kit.

How will this fundraiser work?

This year we have partnered with New Zealand based online fundraising company Raise It. Raise It specialise in working with New Zealand schools and clubs to maximise their fundraising efforts. We have chosen to run a “Frozen Cookie Dough” fundraiser, these delicious Yarrows Frozen Cookies can be baked from frozen in 12-15 minutes!

By running our product sales campaign online, it makes it super easy for everyone - no more door knocking, your family can fundraise from home - no need to worry about handling all that cash and bringing it into the office. You simply sign up on the fundraising website, share the link with family and friends and they can arrange to collect their products from you at the end of the fundraiser.

How do I sign my child/family up to fundraise online?

Each child/family can sign up for their very own web page to send out to friends and family to collect sales. Just go to our Fundraising Hub page at:

https://oxfordcookies.raiseit.co.nz/hub

● You will find the REGISTER link to set up their account on this page

● If you need any help email help@raiseit.co.nz for direct assistance

● All child/family totals update in real time and your donors can leave you messages of encouragement

● The online Fundraising Hub website can be viewed at any time

Ideas for promoting/selling:

Parents - Share your fundraising page around your workplace/colleagues and tell them a date when you will bring their purchases for collection

Share the links with your friends - they’ll love these cookies as much as you!

Use the links on your fundraising page to share with friends/family via email & social media

What if I am unable to sell online?

We have some paper forms available if required which may be collected from the school office

What happens at the end of the fundraiser?

At the end of the fundraising campaign (last day for sales is 22 August) all orders will be compiled, and products will be collected and distributed at School on the afternoon of Thursday 9th September.

On collection day we recommend you bring a cooler bag/chilly bin(s). This will make it easier for the volunteers on collection day when they are sending home orders. If you are a super successful fundraiser… then maybe bring a couple of bags! These are a frozen product and we recommend you return them to your freezer as soon as possible.

Thank you for supporting us with this fundraiser.
