This event is only for those who wish to compete to qualify for Rakahuri zone cross country.

The Oxford Area School event will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd, starting at 1:00 pm in the Oxford A&P Showground ring. Competitors need to be in Oxford Area School PE/sports uniform and suitable footwear. The Years 5/6 will cover 2km, while the Years 7/8 competitors will run 3km. Those who are interested have indicated this to Mrs Evans so there are only approximately 55 runners across the four-year levels.

Rakahuri zone event is on Wednesday 1st July (PP Tuesday 2nd July) at the Rangiora Showgrounds starting at 1:00 pm. Those who qualify will receive information about this and parent help is required to get the students to the event and to help marshal.
