Over the last weekend of the school holidays, we had a student who shone in basketball.

Paige Wakelin-Noble was selected in the North Canterbury Under 13 A Girls team to play in the Mainland Tournament in Ashburton. Working with her team and coaches, Paige thrived on the challenges, and another opportunity to develop her skill level in basketball at this next level up. On Monday, Paige was full of enthusiasm telling me all about this experience on the court and off the court. Her team played teams from all over the South Island and finished a creditable third. Proud of you, Paige, for your contribution to this team.
