Ryde Falls Tramp
Seven students, accompanied by Mr Cooper and Mr Buxton, had a fantatstic day walking the Ryde Falls track.
Sarah Buxton showed great initiative to get together a group of students who showed an interest in exploring the great walks in the local area. Ryde Falls was chosen as the perfect start for this group. We headed off at 9 am to the Coopers Creek car park to start on an amazingly settled Autumn day.
The students set off with a cracking pace that the adults struggled to maintain. The track was suitable for the fitness level of the group but challenging enough to bring up a good sweat. The tramp took 3. 5 hours (6 hour estimated time) allowing the students to get back in time for their Period 5 class.
Thank you to Mr Buxton for taking a day off work to help supervise the trip.
