Over 90 Year 10 and 11 Students had the opportunity to attend the NZ Careers Expo on Thursday. In their words, these were the highlights.

Hannah L in Year 11 said "that discovering all the opportunities that are available for us and taking part in activities that were on offer was great" and for Daniel L it was having the opportunity to talk to staff from Yoobee College and learn about game design, animation & film technology which are some of the things on offer. Ethan R said he enjoyed learning about the Armed Forces and using their computer games etc to gain an insight.

For Year 10 students Lexie G, Zara C and Lillia B - The New Zealand Careers Expo was awesome. "We had lots of fun checking out all the different exhibitors stands - collecting pens, lollies and pamphlets and talking to different people. We took lots away from this experience and gained a lot of information for future jobs and career pathways and how to get into various industries. We never knew there were so many different jobs! It was a great experience and we can't wait for next year to go again."
