It’s that time of the year again when some brave individuals join together to shave their heads to raise money for cancer. Shave for a Cure is going to be held on Thursday 15th of September in Week 8 of this term.

This is a noble cause and your contributions will go towards fundraising for Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand. Every day eight Kiwis are diagnosed with a blood cancer which affects the blood cells in the body and many lose their hair through chemotherapy. The money raised through Shave for a Cure goes towards the continuation of the Shave for a Cure foundation which provides support for patients and their families, information and awareness, and research for blood cancer.

Alongside this event in Week 8 there will be a Bake Sale, a non-uniform day, and don’t forget it will also be Crazy Hair Day! All proceeds from these events will add towards our Shave for a Cure total. Let's make Oxford stand out!
