On Tuesday our Oxford Stars team started their Summer Hockey at the Waimakariri Turf in Rangiora.

A group of 8 students from Y6-8 have taken the opportunity to try hockey out on Tuesday nights in term 1 and again in term 3/4. Oxford have had a team regularly participate in this opportunity for over the last 5 years. They have a skill session to begin with then play games with positive input from experienced coaches. Thanks to Bec Hart for organising this group over the next 6 weeks. The students love it, and gain a lot of enjoyment out of the experience.
