Don't worry! Accidents do happen. Please simply return the book immediately so we can repair it.

Don't bother trying to mend it - we have specialized tapes/equipment that our resident expert uses to make the repair practically invisible.

Don't worry if its still wet - we have a time proven method to dry books flat so that they can still be borrowed.

Do let us know what happened so we can use the correct method to mend it.

If the book is beyond repair (or forever lost), we may ask you to pay for it so that a replacement can be bought.  

By repairing whenever possible, and replacing when necessary, we can continue to provide the books our students enjoy reading for knowledge and pleasure.
