On the 1st of July the tale of the Tortoise and the Hare is coming to Oxford Area School for Year 1-6 students.

The hare is very confident of winning, so it stops during the race and falls asleep. The tortoise continues to move very slowly but without stopping and finally it wins the race. The moral of the story is that you can be more successful by doing things slowly and steadily than by acting quickly and carelessly.

From this experience will come a lot of oral language opportunities, sharing ideas and opinions.

The show comes at a cost of $5 per student. Please pay before the 1st of July at the school office and also let your child's Homeroom teacher know you have paid.  Thank you.
