Recognising the successes of NCEA 2023
A highlight of the week has been our annual Academic Assembly to recognise the successes of those students who achieved their NCEA Certificate with Endorsement in 2023.
We are very proud of the positive trend of increasing endorsements year on year as well as those who received their endorsement with Excellence. Across all three NCEA Levels, our 2023 cohort of students exceeded National averages. 18.8% of students received endorsement with Excellence at Level 1 (16.8% Nationally), 15.8% at Level 2 (14.8% Nationally), and 16.7% at Level 3 (13.7% Nationally). For a student to achieve their certificate with Excellence endorsement they are required to have at least 50 of their 60 credits at Excellence Level.
It was a treat to be joined by Amy Riach (Dux and Head Student 2022) who shared her experience of moving from school to University. Amy provided some advice from her experiences and areas to be aware of. Many thanks, Amy.
