On Friday the 3rd of May Kathryn Berkett will be visiting school to support us all with her training based on understating our learners, their brain development and their reactions to situations. The school will finish at 2 pm.

This will benefit all staff by deepening our understanding of the adolescent brain as well as our own. Leading us to be better at dealing with reactive situations as they arise. Kathryn has her Masters in Educational Psychology. She is also a certified Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics practitioner - a qualification gained via the Child Trauma Academy (Dr Bruce Perry). 

To allow this to happen we will have the following timing for Friday:

9.00am - 9.50am P1

9.50am - 10.40am P2

10.40am - 11.00am BREAK 1

11.00am - 11.50am P3

11.50am - 12.40pm P4

12.40pm - 1.10pm BREAK 2

1.10pm - 2.00pm P5

Confirmed 2pm close - Bus will run at 2pm this day

2.30pm - 4.30pm Staff Meeting (including support staff)
