Three terms worth of debating competition culminated in the finals of the Manawatū Secondary Schools Debating Competition finals, held at Whanganui High School.

Our team of Esther Steer, Kate Barber and Parnika Rao made it through to the finals in which they debated against PNBHS on a creative moot around whether or not it was the right course of action for you to call police on neighbours who were medium level criminals and if this was in the best interests of their young children and the wider society (and your own safety). 

Our team negated the moot extremely convincingly and were crowned MSDC champions for 2023. Well done to Esther, Kate and Parnika!
