Congratulations to our appointed Music Leaders, Christina Jiao - Music Prefect and Instrumental Leader, Maryann Mapuilesua - Vocal leader, Nisha Kantanon - Music Committee leader and Emma Wang - Marketing and Volunteers leader.

Music Lessons

Music lessons and groups have started this week, if you are interested in joining a group please see the rehearsal days and times below and come along. Lesson vacancies are filling fast! There are limited spaces in singing, flute, viola and saxophone. Forms are available on the school website (under Music).

Monday: String Training orchestra - lunchtime
Tuesday: Flute choir - Before school, Junior Choir - HC1 Lunchtime, Jazz band - after school
Wednesday: Guitar orchestra (beginner) - HC1 form time and interval (starts Week 4), Guitar orchestra - HC1 lunchtime (starts Week 4), Zing - Huia Centre lunch time, Audio - Studio 1 after school (starts Week 4), Cantatrices - Huia Centre after school
Thursday - Pre-training orchestra (beginners) - HC1 form time and interval, A cappella - form time and interval, Concert band - HC1 lunchtime, String orchestra - After school.

Congratulations to: Charlotte Askin, Jiya Bothra, Victoria Brown, Charlotte Cobham, Kate Coutts, Iona Graham, Lara Harjes, Linn Herzig, Hannah Hoffman, Gemma Humphrey, Madeleine James, Christina Jiao, Natahlia Johnston, Nisha Kantanon, Siu Lalakai, Maheli Lankeshwara, Issy Li, Laura Lopez, Nadia Mabey, Eilidh Mackay, Amy Macpherson, Maryann Mapuilesua, Bella Nguyen, Lily-Rose Parker, Jenny Qian, Parnika Rao, Cate Redshaw, Cici Sun, Stellar Talauata, Abbie Taylor, Emma Wang and Maddi West.
These students successfully auditioned for Cantatrices last week and had their first rehearsal on Wednesday - following strict singing guidelines with their new Choir director, Mr Roy Tankersley.
