Bella Needham headed to Turkiye at the end of Term 2 for the World Aquatics U16 Water Polo World Championships.

Bella had a fantastic tournament and had heaps of game time over the 5 games they played. She scored 9 goals over the tournament, including being top goal scorer for the team in one of the games. They came within one goal to winning a couple of their games in pool play, but unfortunately didn't quite get there. In their crossover game and final game they versed Zimbabwe, and won both of these games. This saw them finish in 21st place overall. The team did themselves and NZ proud and will now continue working towards their next goal of the U18 World Champs in 2026.
