Enshean Lin (Y13) and Isabel Lu (Y11) have been accepted into the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra's National Youth Orchestra.

Music Committee Event

The Music Committee recently held their final event for the year - Karaoke with the Band, where students signed up to sing with a backing band. Thanks to Focus and Doll Parts for your musical contributions.

Manawatu Jazz and Blues Festival

On Saturday 31 October, the PNGHS Jazz Band competed at the annual High Schools Competition. They performed four tunes: Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing, Autumn Leaves, My Little Suede Shoes and Work Song. Eden Brown (Y12) won the Best Vocals award and Celestial Brown (Y13) received the Adjudicators Commendation award. The video can be found on the PNGHS Music Facebook and Instagram pages.

The Online Sing

Cantatrices and Voices Rechoired (Junior Choir) each submitted a video for the NZ Choral Federation’s Online Sing which was played on the NZCF’s Youtube and Facebook page.
