For 6 days in the holidays I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to spend some time with the Royal New Zealand Air Force at their base in Auckland.

I had the opportunity to learn about what kinds of STEM careers the Air Force has to offer, as well as getting the chance to talk to other companies in the aviation and space industry. From piloting in flight simulators, to getting to build parts of a plane in the hangar, to learning about avionics, and getting to fly in the back of the Hercules, School to Skies has really opened my eyes to the range of opportunities for STEM careers in the Air Force.
