Another massive evening at DanceNZmade Regional 2 on 12 August with the remaining 11 of our teams competing - 90 dancers. This competition was huge with 47 teams entered from around the region - a full three hour competition.

Once again, our girls represented us beautifully, and I am thrilled to share the following results:

Firstly, both Kyla Forsyth and Victoria Gorrie received Golden Tickets. Due to corrected reported scoring at the previous solo event, Kyla was also presented with a Nationals nomination for her solo and Kaydence Cochran was awarded a 3rd placing in the Year 12 solo competition.

2nd Runner Up: Judas - choreographed by Abby-Rose Bailey with assistance from Emily Sutherland

Year 11-13
Runner Up: Network - choreographed by Victoria Gorrie
2nd Runner Up: FAME - choreographed by Ngamarama Tuariki
4th Runner Up: Dust Bowl - choreographed by Grace Cohen

Open Division
Champion: Somebody - choreographed by Fran Gordon. Fran also received a choreography award for this dance (perfect score from both judges).

Overall Regional 2 Champion: Somebody - this is particularly exciting as this was against 46 other dances from all over the region!
3rd Runner Up: Network
4th Runner Up: FAME
