Site Specific creation for Summer Shakespeare: ‘A Mid Summer Nights Dream’

When?

Sunday 14 Feb 2021 10.30 am – 3.30 pm
Saturday 20 Feb 2021 10.30 am – 3.30 pm 

Where?

Down by the river:
Head to the new cycle bridge (He Ara Kotahi) then walk back towards Fitzherbert Avenue along the river & you’ll find us after a short walk.  We’ll be ‘in- situ’ where the play will be staged, with a sign.

What?

Using Natural resources (vines, willow etc) we’ll make ‘props’ for use in the production of ‘Mid Summer Nights Dream’.

Why?

Come and get creative with guidance to help make a magical natural setting for this fabulous piece of theatre. Then come to the show which will be staged 4 -13 March 2021 and which is also free for the public to attend.

Drop in attendance welcome. All hands welcome. And yes it is FREE!
