Congratulations to Sam Mackinder (Y13) who has been selected into the inaugural New Zealand Māori Secondary School Girls Cricket Team.

The team are playing some matches in Wellington next week before the Black Caps vs India test at the Basin Reserve.

Congratulations to the girls that competed at the NZSS Racketlon Championships.

Congratulations to Hannah Sutherland-Smith (Y13) and Abbie Tankersley (Y13) for placing 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Girls Division.

Softball

Congratulations to Maysen Kurene-Iwikau (Y9) for representing Hutt Valley at the U15 and U18 National Softball Championships where the teams placed 3rd in the U15 Championships and 1st in the U18 Championships becoming National Champions.

Maysen has been selected in the New Zealand Developing Sox squad, heading to Melbourne for a tournament over Easter weekend.
