The School Equestrian Team recently competed at the Nga Tawa Interschool Showjumping.

This year we had 2 teams; Team Blue which was made up of Mikayla Williams, Holly McInnes, Sophie Sowry and Alice Moir. And Team White which was made up of Jada Gill, Eden Craine, Ella Easton and Isobel Harper.

Unfortunately we were out of the team placings this year, after being the current shield holders last year. Some riders were placed individually, Ella Easton picked up a 3rd overall in the 1:05m Points Accumulator and a 4th overall in the 1:05m Table C (speed round), and Alice Moir placed 7th overall in the 75cm Table C (speed round).

A week later was The North Island Secondary Schools 2 Day Event held in Taupo. This year we had one team attend which consisted of Alice Moir, Holly McInnes, Mikayla Williams and Riley Chase. We were out of the top team placings this year, however Holly McInnes picked up a 3rd overall individual placing in her class.
