Congratulations to Stephaine McNair (Y13) who at the New Zealand Rural Sports Awards won the Fonterra New Zealand Sports Youth of the Year Cup and she also took out the New Zealand Rural Sports Supreme Award.

New Zealand Outdoor National Championships:

Stephanie McNair (Y13) competed in February at the New Zealand Outdoor National Championships for Smallbore Rifle Shooting. 

This year Stephanie is shooting in the top A Grade Open Competition. This is made up of all New Zealand shooters, male, female and all ages.

Congratulations to Stephanie for her achievements from this competition:

- Junior 3P (three position) Champion discipline

- 6th in the A Grade 2 Day aggregate competition

- 4th placed in the New Zealand Women's match - Qualified for the NZ Open Junior Drew Team, NZ Junior Women’s Drew Team, and NZ vs Australia Junior Team

- Qualified for the North Island Open Team (the North Island Open team won over the South Island team)

- Qualified for the International Randle Women's Team and the NZ Women's Team vs Australia

- Qualified for the NZ Open Slazenger Team (Other shooters who made this team included Oceania and Commonwealth Games Representatives).
