During the first week of the holidays, Haewon Kim, Jenny Song, Sophie Ward and Issy Li were in Christchurch representing PNGHS at the New Zealand Secondary Schools' Symphony Orchestra.

They rehearsed and performed Russian Sailors Dance from Red Poppy by Glière, Haydn's Trumpet Concerto in Eb major and Symphony No.4 in F minor by Tchaikovsky.
