Early in February six senior students of Samoan ethnicity participated in a workshop with presenters Tofiga Fepulea'i and James Nokise and some students from Palmerston North Boys’ High School.

They discussed what it meant to be Samoan in Palmerston North.

They were filmed sharing their views and these were used as a significant part of the stage show “What is a Samoan?” which premiered at the Regent on Wednesday 17 February as part of the Arts Festival. The girls all enjoyed the experience and many people commented on how articulate they were and how well they represented our school.
