On Tuesday 3 May 2022, our Year 12 students attended the RYDA Driving Course at the CET Arena in Palmerston North.

The main purpose of the day was to give our students the tools and understanding to see themselves as active, responsible road users and make the necessary choices to keep themselves and others safe on our roads.

The workshops were designed to be interactive, personalised and engaging and covered the following topics; Drive S.O.S, Speed and Stopping, The I in Drive, Mind Matters, Road Choices and Crash Investigators.

We were also fortunate to have staff from VTNZ with us for part of the day. As a major sponsor of the programme six students were selected to be photographed and interviewed as part of their marketing campaign for their social media channels.
