Year 10 Social Studies classes remembered the 550 nurses who served in WW1 by donning a replica NZ Army Nursing Service uniform made by their teacher, Ms Osborne.

Students were surprised by both the multiple layers of clothing and the difficulty seeing, hearing and moving around when wearing the veil and floor length dress.
