Cross Country
On Friday 5 May, Pāpāmoa College held our yearly cross-country event. The students didn't let the wet conditions dampen their spirits, and they gave it their all.
The cross-country consisted of 3 km (Years 7-10) and 4km (Years 11-13) races. Congratulations to all our place-getters:

Despite the challenging weather conditions, the students showed great determination and sportsmanship.
Mana Waka points were awarded for participation and placing:
1st - Mataatua Waka -305 points
2nd - Tainui Waka - 301 points
3rd - Te Arawa Waka -280 points
4th - Tākitimu Waka - 275 points
Congratulations to all the participants for their hard work and impressive performances!
19 of these students then went on to compete at the Bay of Plenty Secondary Schools Cross Country Championships held on Monday 22 May, where Olivia Tilby-Adams achieved an impressive 3rd place in the Senior Girls category!
