AIMS Games GREEN TEAM
During Aims Games a group of 11 students from Papamoa College participated in the 2018 Aims Games Green Team. We were part of a group of 41 students from different schools around Tauranga
Prior to the Aims Games we had a training day at Blake Park. This was awesome because we got pizza, pens, chocolate, a ticket to the opening ceremony, an Aims Games hat and a free shirt!
Our team was located at Gordon Spratt Reserve and our job was to keep it clean and tidy of all plastics and rubbish. It was a little frustrating when people kept putting their recycling into general rubbish. We made heaps of new friends, watched some football, picked up heaps of rubbish and did some dumpster diving. It was a great week and we felt proud of our contribution!
