Kia ora koutou ngā whānau whānui o Pāpāmoa.

The holidays will be a welcome time for people to relax with their whānau and friends. For our students who have been impacted by COVID in a number of ways, it will be a great time to enjoy being a young person without having to navigate the challenges that have been present in the first term of school. 

I would like to thank all of our staff and students for the way they have worked with these challenges. This has been supported by the efforts of whānau at home also. 

As you will see in this issue of Connect, there are some great things happening at school. Pāpāmoa College is an exciting and vibrant place. Staff are creating some amazing learning opportunities for students and students are making the most of them. 

Term II will see more and more opportunities for students and I would encourage everyone to embrace these and try something new. In the meantime enjoy a glimpse into what has been happening here. I look forward to everyone coming back to school firing for the next term.
