Future Driven

Mrs Bronwin Severinsen - Kairuruku Rapuara / Careers Coordinator —

Four lucky students were thrilled to be given an opportunity to drive a forklift while exploring potential career paths recently.

On Monday 21 March, four of our Future Direction students visited the Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology, Logistics Training Centre.

The intention was to explore future career paths in the distribution and transport industry. They learnt about Tauranga's growing distribution industry and finished with driving a forklift.

Future Directions is a college subject where students have opportunities to explore future careers, participate in Gateway and achieve employability skills and unit standards.
