Hey everyone, my name is John-Vincent Maxwell or JV for short and I am your Head Boy for 2019. I have attended Papamoa College since year 8 and I can say without a doubt this school has only continued to grow and evolve into being a place for not only educating the future generations, but also a place for diversity and acceptance. This is something that the 2019 Head Students wish to continue to represent. 

Papamoa College has given me and other students countless opportunities to cultivate our skills and expand our knowledge to further not only ourselves but everyone else around us, whether it be our school, whanau or community.

As Head Boy I have a lot of ambitions and ideas I would love to implement within our school this year. One of my biggest ambitions is to continue to grow the idea of acceptance within every single student at our school. This will hopefully be done by continuing the great work and ideology of Pink Shirt Day but also trying to bring the GSA club out into the wider school life with Pride month. 

As the year goes on, the other Head Students and I will continue on the great work of last year's Head Students but also pave the way for the future leaders of our school.
