Thrilling final sees Papamoa College come out on top!

Hockey 1st XI Girls 

1st Place Rosemary Obrien Cup. 

Last minute entry into the Rosemary Obrien Cup proved to be a great decision for our PC 1st XI Hockey team, fighting off strong competition throughout the tournament they faced a strong Napier Girls 2nd XI in the final.  The game was a thriller from start to finish and ended up tied at fulltime (1-1) and extra time was required. There was still no result after this period which meant it was time to face the dreaded penalty shootouts. Papamoa held their nerve and WON  (8-7). 

With this success, the team has now been promoted up to a tier 3 tournament next year.   

Big congratulations to all the players and special mention to Simon McCaul (Coach) and Debbie Fowler( Manager) for all the hard work you have put in this season.
