Congratulations to our College Squash Players who played really well in the Bay Of Plenty Teams Championships this year. Especially well done by the Boys Team (pictured above) who won Division 3.

The Boys' Team (Luan Botha Y9, Keanu Jakeman Y8 and Quinn Mulcahy Y9) took the lead with wins over Taupo, Rotorua Boys and Katikati Colleges at the Team Champs held in Tauranga on Tuesday 14 June.

The Girls' team (Isabella Mulcahy, Y10, Monika Werder, Y12 and Phoebe McLaren, Y13) competed on Tuesday 21 June. It was the final squash competition for our students for the year and the end of an era for these girls who have been part of the first-ever squash team to represent Papamoa College for the last 4 years. They finished off in style, as the runners-up in Division 2! 

The students had also competed very well at the earlier BOP Individual Squash Championship events.

Keanu Jakeman - won the ungraded division, Luan Botha was third in Division 3C (17th overall), and Quinn Mulcahy was third in Division 3A and (3rd overall in Divison 3).

For the girls, Monika Werder came fifth in Division 3, Isabella Mulcahy was sixth in Division 3 and Anica Botha came third in Division 5
