Congratulations to Teacher Mrs Jenna Mackay on the recent publication of her third novel!

Jenna's book Scarlet Star is a rags-to-riches story of how one can overcome the most unimaginable atrocities, rise above adversity, and find greatness within themselves.

Scarlett Star is suitable for mature young readers and is available for loan from the Pāpāmoa College Library, or to purchase online from the Copy Press. 

Jenna has been writing fiction for young adults for nine years. Previous novels include "In Black Ink" which was set in the States with themes around the war in Iraq, and "Caramel" a historic fiction set in New Zealand.

Jenna has a limited number of all three of her books available for staff and students for only $20 each. Go and find her in the Awa Learning Commons for one of these special signed editions.

Jenna is also happy to help mentor young writers and assist in editing the work of budding young writers.
