Mr Hosea Taani - Learning Support Coordinator

Mr Hosea Taani - Learning Support Coordinator —

Mālō e lelei, Kia ora koutou, my name is Hosea Taani and I am the Learning Support Coordinator for Papamoa College.

I have returned to the Bay of Plenty after living and teaching in Auckland, England and South Korea. My father is of Tongan descent (Uiha, Ha’apai, Tonga) and my mother is of Māori descent (Ngati Awa, Te Teko, Bay of Plenty).

I have worked in a learning support role for the last 10 years, working alongside a number of learning and behaviour support agencies. My passion for inclusive education and boys learning has lead me to work alongside a number of community-based Māori and Pacific agencies and sport organisations.

I spend my free time with my wife and three children exploring the Bay while finding the time to train and compete in powerlifting events.

Ngā mihi nui
