Hi! My name is Libby McNaughton and I am the Head Girl for 2019. I joined Papamoa College in year 11 and am honoured to be in the role of Head Girl. My time so far at Papamoa College has been one of great self-growth. My involvement in wider school life, as well as the opportunity I received at Papamoa College to attend a three week Outward Bound course, has been paramount for the growth of my self-confidence and leadership skills. I am passionate about growing relationships between year levels and my involvement in coaching, Leo's club, and the position of being a senior school leader gives me a great opportunity to do this.

I am very excited to be working with our Head Student team for 2019 and can not wait to witness the growth of our school community this year. I'm excited to be the president of our school Leo's club and to form a strong relationship with our Local Lions. I play club volleyball for Mauao. I was co-captain of our senior A volleyball in 2018. This year I am giving back to volleyball at Papamoa College, coaching our year 9 & 10 teams. 

I eagerly await the busy year ahead. My word of advice for younger students is that everything you do will teach you something and help you grow, so you should take every opportunity you can!
