In early August our College Basketball Teams competed in the Bay of Plenty Basketball Champs.

The BOP Secondary School Junior Champs took place on Friday 5 August. 

Our Junior A Girls made it all the way to the Division 2 Finals but sadly went down to a very strong John Paul College. 

Our Junior A Boys played some great basketball to finished 2nd in their pool, unfortunately, this meant they didn't progress to the Finals as only the top team in each pool went through. This team is going from strength to strength and we are really excited to see how they get on at the Junior Premiership Zones from the 27-30 August. 

The BOP Secondary School Senior Champs took place on Friday 12 Aug.  

Our Senior A Girls pulled one out of the bag and had a successful day and were crowned Division 1 Champs for 2022!

The Premier Boys had a tough day at the office due to a number of boys out with sickness and injury, the team did their best and is looking forward to re-building for the Basketball NZ - AA Zones at the end of the month. 

Senior A Boy, with most boys new to playing in a tournament, played some great basketball finishing 2nd in their pool.
