The annual Rugby By the Beach tournament was hosted by Papamoa College was a huge success. 12 teams from across the country descended on Papamoa for the 3-day tournament. The weather was outstanding for most of the week which saw some spectacular rugby played.

Papamoa 1st XI had its ups and downs throughout the tournament and ended up placing 8th overall.  Las Filo who played outstanding during the tournament was rewarded by being selected in the tournament team

Congratulations to all the staff and students that were involved in the organisation without your help this tournament wouldn't be the success that it is. Bring on Rugby by the beach 2019!
