Front gate at the end of the day

Pāpāmoa College —

For those of you who are new to the school you may have experienced that the front gates are closed at the end of the school day while students leave campus.

The reason we do this is to maintain a safe environment for the large number of students who leave school at the front entrance at the end of the school day.

By closing the gates we restrict end of day pickups from entering campus. Unfortunately in the past, we have experienced poor and dangerous driving behaviour and traffic congestion, that resulted in an unsafe environment for students.

I am sure you can appreciate that the safety of all students, staff and visitors is paramount.

If you are needing to collect your child at the end of the school day we ask that you organize a suitable collection point off-campus.

We thank you for your understanding.
