Hi there, my name is Rogan and I’m one of the Deputy Head Students for 2020. I have been a part of Papamoa College since 2014 as a year seven and have loved getting involved and being a part of this school. As well as being one of the Head Students , I am also continuing in my role as a Wawata Whanau leader and am fortunate enough to have been elected as Board of Trustees Student Representative for the second time. I feel beyond privileged to have been chosen as one of the Head Students of 2020. With this role comes great responsibility and I am excited to be able to leave my mark on the school and it’s students. 

It is my aim this year to be a great advocate for students at Papamoa College and would love to hear students voices heard and recognised. During my time in this role I hope to raise student participation, school culture and school pride. It is important to me that students are able to feel safe and secure within their school community.

I am extremely excited and eager to see what this year holds. I hope that I am able to do justice to the roles entrusted to me and leave a solid foundation for next years head students, and leadership teams.
