Year 10 Enterprise Studies Market Evening

Mrs Jaki Lee - Enterprise Teacher —

This year’s Market Evening was a great success, with over $2000 in sales on the night. There were some students who earnt almost $100 profit each, as well as groups who have learnt valuable experiences about planning and competition.

Year 10 students who selected Enterprise Studies as a specialist option in Semester B were preparing for this market from late term 3.

Market Evening is the culmination of a group’s work developing their skills in finances, resource and production planning and marketing. In addition to this valuable real world experience they gain valuable knowledge in business studies, accounting, law and economics during the semester.
